Children's Worship

We realize that young children have a short attention span and need a special environment where they can meet and worship God. We invite children ages 3 through 3rd grade to join us for a child-friendly worship time, while parents worship in the sanctuary.

Children of this age start out worshiping with their family in the sanctuary. The pastor will invite the children to the front for a Catechism lesson partway through the service, after which children are invited to exit the sanctuary and be accompanied by an adult and youth helpers to the lower level.

Children will be led to experience God, using all their senses. A godly Christian leader will tell themed Bible stories. The children will sing and do themed activities to reinforce the topic of the lesson. The children will spend time expressing their love and thankfulness for our triune God, and feeling His love and care for them.

When the primary worship service is over, you can get your children, discuss what they learned and did, and return to fellowship with other church members and guests.
