Children's Worship

We realize that young children have a short attention span and need a special environment where they can meet and worship God. We invite children age 3 through 3rd grade to join us fo a child-friendly worship time, while parents worship in the sanctuary.

Children of this age start out worshiping with their family in the sanctuary. Occasionally, there may be a children's message from the pastor. Part way through the first part of our worship service, these children may go to Children's Worship, as each worship service bulletin indicates. Children are invited to exit the sanctuary then and be accompanied by an adult and youth helpers to the lower level.

Children will be led to experience God, using all their senses. A story teller will offer lessons based on parables of the kingdom, selected passages from the Old Testament, and stories that are part of the liturgical year.

When the primary worship service is over, you can get your children, discuss what they learned and did, and return to fellowship with other church members and guests.
